Prepress

Prepress preparation is fundamental in printing.  For that, each printing house needs decent software and a complete machine park. Minimally, you need a computer with sheeting, RIP software and a CTP device.

CTP (computer to plate) devices produce printing plates for the printing press. Aluminum sheets, 0.15 to 0.4 mm thick that are coated with a special layer are used. The device burns an image that will be developed. All products have a two (2) year warranty.

Printing plates

Programs

Sheeting programs are used for placing the desired image on the plate.

RIP (raster image processor) converts the computer image into a printable form and performs color separation.
